What I liked best about the CTER OnLine program:

I liked the convience and flexibility of the online courses. This program allowed me to continue to work full time and coach extracurriculars because I could do the work late nights, weekends, and over my lunch hour. During the first year of the program, my father was ill and passed away. I spent much of that summer in Sothern Illinois. Because this program is online, I was able to continue my work and stay caught up. In addition to the flexibility, I really enjoyed the focues of the CTER program. I am very into technology and this program enhanced my interest and abilities in this area.

How I managed to fit the coursework into my hectic life:

As I mentioned previously, I worked late nights, weekends, lunch hours, prep periods....

CTER OnLine has impacted my professional career in the following ways:

I think the program has certainly made me more aware of how I can better utilize technology in the classroom. I have always used technology, but since entering and completing the CTER program I am always looking to incorporate more technology.

Have you had any major life changes you'd like to share? (marriages, births, new jobs, etc.)

My most memorable experience in the CTER OnLine program:

My most memorable experience in the CTER online program is the ScienceNet website that Pam Van Walleghen and I developed for Ken Traver's course. We took this project and entered it into the Thinkquest For Tommorow's Teachers competition and won the Gold prize.
