What I liked best about the CTER OnLine program: |
I liked the fact that one could pick the time to work on the classes according to when it best fit into individual schedules. I also liked the fact that I did not have to drive to Champaign several times a week and could still get a degree from the U of I at Champaign/Urbana |
|
How I managed to fit the coursework into my hectic life: |
A group of us set a weekly meeting time and worked together for most of the program. In addition, I set aside one night each week and Saturday and Sunday, as needed, to work on assignments. |
|
CTER OnLine has impacted my professional career in the following ways: |
I will be leaving the classroom this fall and working as a curriculum leader in my school. I will be developing and helping to implement new curriculum as our school changes from a 5/6 center to a 6/7/8 grade middle school. I feel CTER has helped me prepare for this career change. |

Have you had any major life changes you'd like to share? (marriages, births, new jobs, etc.) |
1. I'll be a grandmother for
the first time in June. |
|
My most memorable experience in the CTER OnLine program: |
1. Sandy Levin's class in which we learned to write grants--very useful since I have written or helped write 3 small grants and one major grant this year and will write others in my new job. 2. The school law class--I disliked the amount of work, but found the material extremely interesting. |
