What I liked best about the CTER OnLine program: CTER allowed me to expand the knowledge I had concerning technology and discover the capabilities inherent in educational technology.
How I managed to fit the coursework into my hectic life: Lists, calendars, and the best 'study-buddy' around!
CTER OnLine has impacted my professional career in the following ways: I currently am the staff development and school improvement coordinator for my district as well as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher. CTER has impacted my professional career by giving me the skills needed to be more involved in the district web site, in-services, technology budget, and grant writing.
Have you had any major life changes you'd like to share? (marriages, births, new jobs, etc.) I lost a part of me during this program- my gall bladder.
My most memorable experience in the CTER OnLine program: The day the web board crashed before I had to give my presentation! I was on the phone to a peer and on line at the same time and we were both scared because we did not feel as comfortable with Tapped In, but when Dr. Levin said 'who would like to go first'- I jumped in and said 'I'll give it a shot!' It worked okay but it was definitely memorable.
