EdPsy490I Tutorial:
Using RealPresenter to narrate and stream PowerPoint.

RealPresenter Basic is a free utility from Real.com that allows you to easily narrate a PowerPoint presentation and convert it to streaming media in RealVideo format.  However, this utility is only available for Windows 95, 98, 2000 & NT 4.  Because of this limitation, the tutorial uses a special video codec for Windows machines only.

Below are links to a tutorial which explains how to use RealPresenter.  This tutorial is 22 minutes long, and is encoded at a resolution of 640x480 pixels.  In order to view the presentation with the highest possible clarity, you should set your monitor to 640x480.

To change your monitor resolution...

Right click in a blank area of the background of your Desktop and choose "Properties" from the pulldown menu.

At the top right corner of the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab.  Adjust the slider within the "Screen area" controls.  For the clearest possible view of this tutorial, adjust your screen area to 640 by 480 pixels, and click the OK button.
