Students wishing to withdraw from a course must complete a Change of Status form and submit it by the deadline for withdrawing from that course. The deadline for withdrawing from a course is:

15-16 week course must be dropped before there are four weeks remaining in the course

4-6 week courses must be dropped before there is one week remaining in the course

Withdrawals received before the end of the first day of class will receive a full tuition and fee refund. Thereafter, the pro-rata refund will be based upon the date that the Change of Status Form is received and the actual class length. Change of status forms may be obtained by contacting the Academic Outreach office, visiting the Academic outreach website at www.outreach.uiuc.edu, or contacting the Regional Program Director in your area.
